New Season. New Faces. Real Housewives of Durban S3 Is Coming To Showmax!
Just when you thought the year couldn’t start off right, Showmax graciously gives us another season of the one show we’ve all been waiting for – The Real Housewives of Durban. Arguably one of the best Real Housewives franchise shows we have locally, this show has given us more than we’ve ever asked for.
Real Housewives of Durban has had a remarkable year where Bravo! TV made the franchise available in their network for their international audiences to stream to see how receptive their audiences would be to the show. Without a doubt, the franchise made an impression on a lot of non-South African viewers worldwide.
However, seeing that S2 was packed with drama, I noticed that some of the cast members from the show will not be making a return to the show. Cast members such as LaConco, Thobile and Londie seem to have been replaced while supporting cast member, MaBusi, had not been made a main cast member. It’s unclear why the three ladies have left however, we’re yet to hear from Showmax to announce who the new ladies joining the show will be.
Personally, I’m interested to see how the show will progress without Londie and LaConco as they were an integral part of the show in S2 without question. Thobile on the other hand was very much reserved and didn’t really give much to the show except at the reunion. Whatever their reasons may be for leaving, I wish them all the best.
