Make some delicious meals with J’Something, Kamini Pather and McCain

For some of us who are just getting into the swing of things in the kitchen, McCain alongside J’Something and Kamini Pather will be teaching us how to whip some amazing meals in partnership with McCain. Whether you only know how to make eggs and noodles, worry not because McCain is here to save you so that you can also impress your loved ones once these two weeks of lockdown are done.
Bring the heat to your kitchen by joining the Made with McCain Winter Warmers Virtual Masterclass on 9 July. With J’Something as the host, he will be joined by celebrity chef, Kamini Pather, who will demonstrate how to cook a comfort food classic, with a modern take, to warm you up during these cold winter months.

There’s nothing better than cozying up on a chilly winter night with a delicious, wholesome, home-cooked meal, and Kamini will demonstrate just how easy it is to pull off. Pather, who is a chef, food blogger, radio and TV personality, and winner of MasterChef South Africa, will be showing participants how to create her filled-with-goodness Shepherd’s Pie – with a twist.
By using McCain’s Crispy Oven Chips with Skin On as a non-traditional topping to her Shepherd’s Pie, this dish is sure to be a winner with the kids, while giving the added benefits of B vitamins, vitamin C, iron, calcium, potassium, lots of fiber, as well as other nutrients.
In the spirit of connection, togetherness and making more room at the table, so to speak, the virtual cook-along will be available to everyone, free of charge! Consumers are invited to join in from the comfort of their own kitchens on McCain’s Facebook page, at 4pm on Friday 9 July, 2021.
“The last year has taken a toll on everyone and we really want to be able to give people something to look forward to, through our interactive cook-a-longs,” says Danielle De Villiers, Senior Brand Manager at McCain. “We want to continue to provide mealtime inspiration, using planet-friendly food, and to bring fun into the kitchen.”
